When the Bear Creek Music Festival called it quits last year, longtime fans of the jam festival were devastated. Fortunately for them, the festival recently announced a relocation to New Orleans, under the new name Bear Creek Bayou Music Festival, with a stellar lineup taboot! Scheduled for September 30-October 1, the new festival will be held at Mardi Gras World in NOLA.The festival has finalized their lineup with George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Bernard Purdie & Friends (featuring Pete Shad, Brian J & Ivan Neville), The Budos Band, “Green Is Beautiful” A Tribute to Grant Green featuring Eddie Roberts, The Heavy Pets, Honey Island Swamp Band, Russ Liquid, Gravity A, Cha Wa, Boukou Groove, Pirate’s Choice, Smoke & Bones and Doombalaya!These exciting additions round out the already-packed list of performers, including The Flaming Lips, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Lettuce (x2), Soulive, Foundation of Funk (ft.
