Leaked specs say HP Topaz will support LTE wireless sharingprinting the cloud

first_imgToday’s a good day for tablet spec leaks. After Amobil’s earlier scoop spilling the literal guts of the HTC Flyer, Pre Central has just done the same for HP‘s much-anticipated webOS tablet, the Topaz. Here’s what we’re looking at. Inside, the Topaz will boast a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8660 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, which will make it capable of 1080p video and integrated GPS functionality. 512MB of DDR2 memory will help keep that Snapdragon running along at a swift pace. Internal storage options will be 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, with the possibility of a 128GB model coming soon.AdChoices广告The 9-inch display will run at an iPad-like resolution of 1024 x 768 and use Gorilla Glass. A 1.3MP front-facing camera will give the Topaz video chat functionality. Interestingly, the Topaz is slated to come not only in WiFi and 3G flavors, but also support LTE (with CDMA coming later). Even more interesting: the Pre‘s excellent Touchstone inductive charging station is getting an impressive buff into something more akin to Apple‘s AirPrint and AirPlay initiatives. Check out what it will be capable of:• Wireless charging similar to what we have now• Wireless picture sharing• Wireless website sharing• Wireless audio streaming via Bluetooth to speaker dock• Wireless map and directions• Wireless music sharing from Palm smartphone (eg Broadway) to Topaz• Wireless contact sharing• Wireless printing• Wireless video streaming from Touchstone video dock to VGA or HDMI out• Wireless video game playing via Touchstone video dockPretty incredible. The HP Topaz is looking like a winner. We still don’t have price or release dates, but if HP can get this bad boy out soon, we may have our first non-Apple tablet with a feature set capable of challenging the iPad.Read more at Pre Centrallast_img
