first_imgGo back to the e-newsletterSeabourn is offering a wide selection of Combination Voyages in Europe this summer, giving travellers the chance to enjoy added savings as well as the opportunity to explore more of Europe in ultra-luxury style, from the coastlines of the French, Spanish and Italian Rivieras to the Greek Isles and the Norwegian fjords.A popular option with Australian guests, the combination of two or more Seabourn cruises results in additional savings of up to 15 per cent on the cruise fare.“Many of our Europe cruises are designed as seven-day cruises but are combinable for two to four weeks, allowing guests to create wonderful longer itineraries that are very rich in port content,” Seabourn’s Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Sales John Delaney said.Seabourn’s Combination Voyages in Europe this year include:14-day European Combination Cruises in the eastern Mediterranean on Seabourn Odyssey, priced from $6,999 per person with complimentary veranda upgrades. The Aegean Odyssey sails round trip from Athens (Piraeus) to Barcelona on 28 May, 25 June, 23 July, 20 August, 17 September and 15 October, 2016, calling at 13 ports and featuring Seabourn’s exclusive Evening at Ephesus complimentary shore event. The 14-day Adriatic & Aegean Isles cruises depart Venice to Istanbul on 18 June, 16 July, 13 August, 10 September and 8 October, 2016, featuring 13 port visits, the line’s Evening at Ephesus event, as well as a planned Marina Day at Primosten, Croatia on the Dalmatian Coast featuring complimentary water sports from the ship’s fold-out water sports platform.A 21-day Mediterranean Nights voyage round trip from Monte Carlo, with fares starting at $11,999 per person. Departing 11 August and 6 October, 2016, Seabourn Sojourn will visit 18 charming ports and towns along the Spanish and French Rivieras, the stunning Amalfi Coast in Italy, and idyllic islands such as Malta, Corsica and Sardinia. In addition, two Marina Days are planned at Amalfi and San Remo, Italy.In Northern Europe, Seabourn Quest will offer 21-day combination voyages between Stockholm and Copenhagen on 21 May, 28 May, 18 June and 25 June, 2016, with rates starting from $14,499 per person. These voyages will explore the majestic fjords of Norway, and the best of Scandinavia and the Baltic, offering scenic Fjord cruising and three days in St. Petersburg. These cruises will also feature the line’s popular Ventures by Seabourn excursions, an innovative optional program of Zodiac and kayak excursions led by Seabourn Quest’s expedition team of respected naturalists, science, wildlife and historical experts. Available at select ports, Ventures by Seabourn will lead guests through picturesque waterways and fjords, secluded inlets and to scenic islands via sturdy, stable Zodiac inflatable boats or paddling in double sea kayaks.Seabourn’s 2016 Europe season will also offer many of the line’s signature and unique experiences including the popular Shopping with the Chef excursion, where, in various ports throughout the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, a small group of guests accompany the executive chef to local markets to learn about local produce and see how the freshest ingredients are selected to create exquisite dishes onboard.In addition, the Europe season will include stops at a number of ports that are home to UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
